The CanDev Scheduling System is resourceful, flexible and feature rich. It has been designed to meet the challenges of any industry. It is able to integrate with most payroll and attendance verifying hardware Systems. CanDev Systems makes it very simple to create shifts, assign coverage, and record timesheets.
The scheduling dashboard displays the whole scheduling operation. It shows the list of sites, number of shifts, number of shifts covered, number of shifts accepted by employee’s, and total worked timesheet hours. Other features include the display of distance between the worksites and employee’s residence, published open shifts, GPS based clock-ins and outs, scheduling conflict alerts and descriptions.
A shift is a time and place a person must attend for a period of time. The shift creation page provides scheduling administrators the ability to create multiple, rotating, carry-over, and recurring shifts. Shifts repetition can be created for up to three years with one transaction. You can also create and assign tasks to a shift so that the tasks will appear with the shift, no matter who covers the shift. Shift information can also be viewed by employees on their mobile application.
Coverage is the assignment of a person to a scheduled shift. Scheduling Administrators can either assign shifts directly to employees or the employees can apply for published open shifts themselves. After the shifts are created, Schedulers must assign an employee to cover the shift or the shift will be left uncovered. The assignment page provides filters to view who is close to the site and is available to cover the open shift. When assigning coverage, Schedulers will be alerted to any scheduling conflicts, provide a conflict description, and display confirmation of shift acceptance by the employee.
A Timesheet is designed to record when the Employee began their shift, how much time they worked within the shift, and when did they end their shift. The Employee GPS clock-in and out location can be verified by using the CanDev Systems mobile application. The timesheet management system can also record the many different types of variable situations, like no-shows, holidays, leave of absences, and sick days. The timesheet information is then seamlessly transferred to the payroll module to be used to process the Employees payroll information very quickly and accurately. After processing the timesheet information, the CanDev Systems system gathers the information to produce statistics and analytics to measure the level of operational performance.
The Scheduling Settings Page has numerous variables that allows schedulers the ability to customize their scheduling operation. Schedulers can set limits on employee’s weekly, by-weekly, and monthly working hours. For example: schedulers can qualify or disqualify employees based on training and client preference from working in certain locations. You can also set limits on the distance employees can travel to sites.
You can monitor your workforce’s attendance in real time and be able to react more quickly when absence is discovered with the CanDev attendance management system. The CanDev system records the GPS location and the time of the Employee's clock-in and out for payroll and customer billing purposes.
The Attendance Management Dashboard provides schedulers with a view of all shifts, coverages, clock-in and outs, timesheets, the location of the clock-in, and alert notifications, all on one screen. This allows schedulers the ability to monitor, in real time, the operations attendance situation and ensure that no shift is left unattended. The dashboard is designed to update every minute, so Schedulers can have the latest information.
You can track the location of your workforce and coordinate their positions for logistical purposes with the CanDev Systems location tracker. Your workforce can be tracked with our mobile application to improve on logistical efficiencies, readiness, and being able to view your list of available assets in real time.
Your customers have the ability to sign the Employee ’s clock-ins and outs digital timecards to verify their attendance at the customers locations. The CanDev Systems clock-in and out digital signature feature will provide the customers with a report attached to their invoice that will display the list of managers signatures and the shift that it applies to. The signature report will also include the GPS records with the managers name for any future reference requirements.
The Address Dashboard shows the list of active sites that are currently being attended to by your employees. This feature gives the Dispatchers and Schedulers a way of assessing the current customer requirements and helps them to monitor staffing levels in all areas of operation.
